Spring 2001

Welcome to our web site and our second newsletter.

We hope you have found our web site both interesting and informative. We have been pleased to receive your comments and are delighted the site is being regularly used.

Change has continued rapidly. Our modern and striking logo and colour scheme has now spread throughout the Practice. The outside of the building has been repainted to match, with new signs making it much more distinctive. The new staff outfits, name badges and stationary add to the overall professional image we believe is so vital to a successful practice in the 21st Century.

Since last year we welcomed Tracey who joined our team as both a dental nurse and receptionist. She always has a friendly smile and helpful manner.

We would like to congratulate three of our nurses: Kerry, Lorna and Tracey for passing their professional dental nursing examinations. They all showed great determination and worked extremely hard to prepare for this difficult exam. Well done!

During the Easter period the downstairs ‘front‘ surgery has been completely refurbished with modern state of the art equipment. The dental chair with its associated instruments also has the amazing ability, at the push of a switch, to change from right to left-handed to accommodate different dentists.

We are all particularly proud of our success in gaining our ‘Investors in People‘ - further details below. Everybody in the practice rose to the challenge, has given so much and tried so hard for this achievement. Our success in working as a team has really improved the care we always strive to give - hopefully you can tell the difference!

Even though the following saying is somewhat of a cliché, we really mean it........ Please let us know of there is anything about your visit that you are not happy with - otherwise please tell others.
